DU-WOODY Duathlon

What a great day of competition and fellowship along with wonderful weather at our 4th Annual DU-WOODY Duathlon on Saturday, April 9th! We had 35 participants competing this year along with a great group of volunteers!  Thanks to Camden Cycling Club for co-hosting!  Visit our Facebook Page for more photos.

 Huddles meet on Thursdays (6th & 7th grade), Fridays (8th grade) @ 7: 30 a.m.– 8 a.m. in the chorus room.

Huddles meet on Thursdays (6th & 7th grade) & Fridays (8th grade) @ 7: 05 a.m. – 7:20 a.m. in the ISS room. Leadership Group meets Tuesdays @ 7:05 a.m. in Room 504.

FCA Summer Camp Registration is Open!

WHEN: June 27 – July 1 or July 4 – 8
WHERE: Epworth-by-the-Sea on St. Simons Island
COST: $380
WHY: Leadership camp is vital for prospective leaders, because students will learn how to be an FCA Leader. This camp will equip you with speaking skills, leadership skills, and many other useful resources to be successful in the upcoming school year. Go to for more information on camp. See “Go to Camp” and search by state (Georgia) and camp type (leadership). A sample daily camp schedule is available online.
1. Online -- Click here-- A $100 deposit is required to register. You can break the fee up into monthly payments: $100 in March/April (registering online), $100 in May, $180 in June.


Camp scholarships are available which will help to offset the cost of camp. Scholarship amounts range from $50 to $280. All scholarship applicants must be able to pay $50 deposit at time of camp registration. Please email Coach Tippins or your Huddle Coach to receive a scholarship form and return to your huddle coach. Scholarships aren’t guaranteed, but based on first-come, first-served basis & on family need/availability of funds.
