Brad Tippins was born and raised in Claxton, Georgia. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a BS in Physics in 1982. He served in the United States Navy and completed his 13 years of active duty time and 8 years in the reserves here at Kings Bay. During his Navy service he also obtained his Master of Business Administration degree from Georgia College. He retired as a Commander from U.S. Navy Reserves.
He taught and coached at St. Marys Middle school for 17 years. He has been involved with the Wildcat fot ball program since 1994. He has served as a Fellowship of Christian Athletes huddle coach since 1997 and is now a Area Representative for FCA. His responsibilities include overseeing all FCA activities in Camden and Charlton counties.
His wife is the former Suzanne (Suzie) Strickland who is also from Claxton. She received BS & MS degrees from the University of Georgia. She serves as FCA’s Administrative Assistant. They have three boys, Alex is a 2015 graduate of Georgia Tech and is working in the Atlanta area, Scott, a student at the University of Georgia; and Nathan is a student at Georgia Southern University. They are active members of Kingsland First United Methodist Church.

Coach Joe McFarland officially came on staff with FCA March 1, 2016, but he has been involved with FCA for many years. He served as Division 1 College Baseball Coach for 38 years. He is also the the author of Coaching Pitchers with 40,000+ copies selling worldwide. He has been a speaker at national and international baseball conventions. Coach McFarland has received Coach of the Year awards at the region, state, and conference levels and has sent 30+ players to the major leagues. He spent those years mentoring coaches and players to learn and respect the game of baseball. He says, "partnering with FCA allows me to continue teaching the game as a "servant leader" going much deeper into the Gospel of Jesus Christ by disciplining coaches and players. Even before coming on staff, he has been leading a Coaches Bible Study at Camden Co. High School, serving as a community coach with the Camden Middle, St. Marys Middle and Camden High school baseball teams, and hosting baseball clinics. Diane Smith came on staff with FCA on October 1, 2016. She has been a active volunteer and served on the FCA Board of Directors before coming on staff. She has coached volleyball, basketball, and track with middle and high school teams in addition to community leagues. She is a licensed pastor and serves as the Children's Pastor at St. Marys Church. She is working with our elementary huddles, community recreation sports, and directs our annual Power Camp.She is married to Victor Smith who serves as the FCA Huddle Coach at Camden Co. High School. In the summer of 2010 they served in Moldova with FCA international mission projects. They have son and daughter and three grandchildren.
